Hedera Appears on UK Wholesale Digital Markets Champion Industry Taskforce Roster

Hedera is listed among members of the UK Wholesale Digital Markets Champion Industry Taskforce, where BlackRock and NatWest are set to lead a fully on-chain repo use case targeted for April 2027. Hedera’s decentralized finance total value locked stood at $33.2 million on Oct. 17, 2026. The taskforce coordinates industry work on tokenizing wholesale financial markets. Its priority use cases include repo, fixed income and uncleared over-the-counter derivatives. A repo transaction is the first end-to-end use case, with a live trial aimed for spring 2027 and April 2027 set as the delivery target.
