Grandine and Lighthouse Issue Glamsterdam Clients Ahead of Hoodi Fork

Grandine and Lighthouse issued Glamsterdam client releases on Oct. 19, giving Hoodi operators two more listed software versions to prepare for Ethereum’s scheduled testnet activation next week. Grandine 3.0.0-rc.1 and Lighthouse v8.3.0 are the newly posted consensus-client versions. A check at 9:47 a.m. ET (13:47 UTC) on Oct. 19 found version numbers for all six consensus clients on Hoodi’s compatibility list, compared with three of its six execution clients. The previously scheduled Hoodi fork is set for Oct. 26 at 1:42:48 p.m. ET (17:42:48 UTC). It will occur at epoch 132,352 and slot 4,235,264, following Glamsterdam’s Oct.
