Google plans to introduce a crypto custody security service that spreads transaction-signing authority across separate systems. The product, called Google Multi-Party Compute, is in private testing with financial institutions, while a commercial release is targeted for early 2027. Google intends to launch the product at their digital assets symposium in New York. Its parent firm, Alphabet, is currently using it to secure their undisclosed digital assets on Ethereum and Solana. The platform has kept secret the names of the participating institutions, and their pricing has been concealed too. The type of digital assets that are protected for Alphabet is unknown.
