Google has set introductory launch prices for Gemini 4 Carbon at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, giving developers a cost reference before wider access begins. The announced schedule lists later prices of $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens. Both later rates are double their introductory counterparts. Google has not provided a date for when the introductory period ends or the higher rates take effect. The announcement also lists a 95% discount for cached input, calculated against the applicable input price.
