Google Schedules Gemini 3.8 and 3.6 Flash API Price Increases for January 1, 2027

Google’s Gemini API pricing page lists scheduled rate changes for Gemini 3.8 Flash and Gemini 3.6 Flash, effective January 1, 2027. The official pricing table shows the same change for both models across the paid Standard, Batch, Flex and Priority tiers. Listed input, output and context-caching rates double; output pricing includes thinking tokens. The current listed rates run through December 31, 2026, with the new rates beginning the next day. Standard input moves from $0.75 to $1.50 per million tokens, while output moves from $3.75 to $7.50.
