Google, Amazon and Broadcom have committed a combined $77 billion in additional financing to Anthropic, with parts of the package tied to the artificial intelligence company's performance and operating targets. Amazon's financing agreement is linked to milestones for computing capacity. Google has committed $20 billion, with a portion contingent on Anthropic meeting revenue targets. The two conditions apply to separate agreements: computing capacity is the benchmark for Amazon's financing, while revenue goals apply to part of Google's commitment. Google and Amazon have also become Anthropic's largest shareholders, combining leading ownership positions with financing roles.
