Goldman Sachs Sees CoreWeave Debt Need Fall With Longer GPU Life

Goldman Sachs analysts put CoreWeave’s new debt need at $19.5 billion to $23 billion, with the estimate changing based on customer prepayments, available cash and how long graphics processors remain useful. The $23 billion case assumes a 4.5-year useful life for graphics processing units (GPUs). Extending that assumption to six years lowers the estimate to $19.5 billion. The analysts’ figures are estimates, not company guidance. Bernstein analyst Madison Rezaei estimated in an Oct. 22 note that CoreWeave would need $85 billion in total funding for its existing committed backlog, with $9 billion covered by existing facilities.
