Gold prices bounced back on Monday, November 2, after reaching their lowest point in a year, supported by softer oil prices and renewed demand following a pronounced selloff in technology shares. Spot gold advanced about 0.7% to $3,900 per ounce, with December U.S. gold futures also climbing 0.3% to near $3,909. The uptick followed a 3.5% decline on Friday, when bullion slipped below $3,900 for the first time since October 2025. Gold has long been viewed as a safe-haven asset during episodes of financial turbulence.
