Gilead to Pay Texas $45 Million to Settle Medicaid Incentive Allegations

Gilead Sciences will pay Texas $45 million to resolve allegations that it offered medical providers incentives to steer prescriptions for patients covered by the state’s Medicaid program toward its drugs. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s office alleged the offers included free nurses and reimbursement support services.
