Genmab said Oct. 23 its investigational antibody-drug conjugate rinatabart sesutecan (Rina-S) met its primary progression-free survival and key secondary overall-survival goals in a Phase 3 trial of platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. The topline results favored Rina-S over investigator-selected chemotherapy. In the 584-patient intent-to-treat population, Genmab reported a 71% reduction in the risk of disease progression or death, with a hazard ratio of 0.29 (95% confidence interval, 0.23-0.37; P<0.0001). In the 492-patient primary analysis set, the reported risk reduction was 67%, with a hazard ratio of 0.33 (95% confidence interval, 0.26-0.42; P<0.0001). Overall-survival results were statistically significant in both groups.
