GE Aerospace Falls 0.81% Despite Positive MACD Histogram, Slides Further Tuesday

GE Aerospace shares fell 0.81% to $311.28 on Oct. 19 despite a positive daily MACD histogram, then dropped 3.67% to $299.87 the next day after the company released its third-quarter results. A positive MACD histogram means the MACD line was above its signal line. It does not mean the MACD line itself was positive or that the stock price rose. The Oct. 19 close was below the stock’s 20-, 50- and 200-session exponential moving averages, which stood at $313.19, $323.89 and $319.72, respectively. GE Aerospace released results Oct. 20 for the quarter ended Sept. 30.
