Gate CEO Calls for Crypto Security Alliance After Binance Incident

Gate founder and CEO Dr. Han called Friday for crypto firms to form a shared security alliance after a security incident involving Binance, saying coordinated safeguards could help the industry rebuild trust. Han outlined three areas for shared rules: preventive security standards, intrusion detection and emergency response procedures. He framed crises as opportunities to restore confidence and set stronger expectations across the industry. Han also pointed to Gate’s earlier push for industry-wide on-chain proof of reserves. He said Gate began that effort six years ago and described transparency as a baseline for crypto firms.
