FreeCast has added Cajun Broadband as a distribution partner, giving the Louisiana internet provider a way to offer its media marketplace across its service areas, including rural communities. The offering centers on SmartGuide, which organizes eligible streaming choices across services and devices. Users may be directed to the original content provider to watch selected programming, so viewing can take place through that provider’s service. FreeCast’s partner model lets broadband providers offer customers a branded media experience using its software and operating platform.
