Former NRO Director Christopher Scolese Joins Intuitive Machines Board

Intuitive Machines appointed former National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) director Dr. Christopher Scolese to its board effective Oct. 22, filling a vacancy after Michael Blitzer resigned and assigning Scolese to chair the board’s Conflicts Committee. Scolese is a Class II director. His initial term runs through the company’s 2027 annual meeting. He will also serve on the Audit and Nominating and Corporate Governance committees. Blitzer’s resignation took effect Oct. 21. Scolese headed the NRO from 2019 through 2026. Earlier, he directed NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center from 2012 to 2019.
