FLUX 3 Klein Ties Output Rights Under $5M Gross Annualized Revenue, Affiliates Included

Black Forest Labs released FLUX 3 Image Klein on Oct. 15, making downloadable weights available for image generation and editing under a commercial license tied to users’ revenue across affiliated entities. An individual or entity qualifies if its gross annualized revenue, combined with revenue from affiliates, is less than $5 million. Qualifying users may use generated images commercially and run the model in production to create those images. The commercial grant covers those outputs and the production use needed to make them; it does not provide unrestricted commercial rights to every use of the model, including fine-tuning.
