Fission, a blockchain-enabled financial technology company building liquidity infrastructure for tokenized investment funds, has closed a $10 million Series A led by Pantera Capital, according to a company announcement published October 15. The round adds Circle Ventures, New Form, gumi Cryptos Capital, Borderless Capital and Ari Rubenstein, CEO of trading firm GTS, to Fission’s investor base. They join existing backers including Anthony Scaramucci, Manhattan Venture Partners, Reflexive Capital and Lattice Capital. Investment funds are moving on-chain, but much of the surrounding market structure has not changed.
