Fairfax India Posts $0.28 GAAP Earnings Per Share for Third Quarter

Fairfax India Holdings Corporation posted GAAP earnings of $0.28 per share for the third quarter of 2026, giving investors a new quarterly earnings figure for the company. Separately, India approved Fairfax subsidiary 10955230 Canada Inc. as strategic buyer for a proposed 60.72% stake in IDBI Bank . The proposed sale is valued at about $5.6 billion. The Government of India is selling a 30.48% stake, and Life Insurance Corporation of India is selling 30.24%. The approval concerned a proposed purchase.
