Explaining How XRP Ledger Gained 142% in New Accounts

New account creation on the XRP Ledger jumped 142.4%, according to XRPScan data. It points to renewed interest in the ecosystem, even though XRP is still struggling to get its bullish momentum back. XRPScan counted 7,734 newly activated accounts on November 1, 2026, up 33% from the day before and far above the network's 30-day average of roughly 3,500 new accounts a day. Wallet creation is clearly speeding up. What's behind it is still unclear. There are a few plausible explanations.
