eToro to Acquire Argentina’s LB Finanzas for Latin America Expansion

eToro agreed Nov. 4 to acquire Argentine financial app LB Finanzas, a deal aimed at strengthening its Latin American presence, with plans to make Argentina its regional hub. Founded in Rosario in 2018, LB Finanzas serves individuals and businesses through one app. It offers stocks, exchange-traded funds, crypto assets and money market funds, alongside Argentine peso and U.S. dollar accounts and payment services. The app serves hundreds of thousands of users and is regulated by Argentina’s National Securities Commission (CNV) and Central Bank (BCRA). “For our clients, nothing changes today.
