Ethereum , the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, was priced at $2,308.06 as of October 29, 2026, reflecting a 41.73% decline over the past year. With just two months left in 2026, most price predictions set earlier this year have become unrealistic, forcing analysts and investors to reassess their scenarios. ETH remains 53% below its all-time high of $4,946.05, which was recorded on August 24, 2025. The token has traded within a daily range of $2,309.55 to $2,384.72 and saw its market capitalization fall to $281.98 billion, making it the second-ranked coin in the sector.
