An unidentified whale's $6.68 million Ether (ETH) purchase showed a $122,000 unrealized gain after a market rebound. The whale bought 2,887.49 ETH at an average price of $2,315. The purchase was made about 10 hours before the gain snapshot. About 10 minutes after the purchase, the broader market reached a short-term low and began to rebound. At 9:46 p.m. ET Saturday (01:46 UTC Sunday), the position showed $122,000 in unrealized gains. That figure reflects a paper gain on an open position, not profit from a completed sale.
