Echo Protocol Sets a Nov. 19 Deadline as It Phases Out Operations

Echo Protocol plans a staged shutdown, halting new activity across its products and setting a Nov. 19 deadline for users to withdraw, repay debts or unstake. Echo Protocol is an Aptos-based Bitcoin (BTC) finance protocol. It has closed its core services to new capital. Its lending service no longer accepts deposits or new loans and has stopped interest accrual; strategy and liquid-staking products have also halted new deposits and staking. The shutdown spans lending, strategy and liquid-staking services in Aptos' Bitcoin finance ecosystem. Borrowers must repay outstanding loans by Nov. 14.
