Dubai VARA Highlights Tokenization’s Reach Into Market Infrastructure

Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority highlighted tokenization’s role beyond traded products, pointing to wholesale markets, securities recordkeeping and frameworks for tokenized securities as areas of market infrastructure. VARA’s latest Regulatory Radar highlights developments in all three areas. It presents tokenization as relevant beyond the financial products traded in markets, extending into the infrastructure that supports them. VARA has focused on connecting tokenized assets with established systems, including settlement infrastructure and real estate markets, as part of its real-world asset tokenization focus .
