DTCC Lists Stellar for 2027 Asset Tokenization Service Launch

DTCC and the Stellar Development Foundation announced on May 27, 2026 that they plan to connect the Depository Trust Company’s asset tokenization service to the Stellar public blockchain, with DTC-tokenized assets expected to be available on Stellar in the first half of 2027, per the official DTCC press release. The planned connection designates Stellar as a public-blockchain launch partner for DTC’s tokenization service, which is designed to enable rapid conversion of traditionally custodied securities into tokenized form while preserving the full asset lifecycle, including corporate actions and reporting, according to the Stellar Development Foundation’s case study .
