Dogecoin Labs Launches to Boost Utility of Original Meme Coin Network

Dogecoin has a new organization dedicated to expanding its ecosystem beyond its meme coin origins, bringing together prominent products and development teams in an effort to turn the cryptocurrency’s popularity into everyday utility. Dogecoin Labs announced its formation Wednesday in partnership with the Dogecoin Foundation, consolidating the MyDoge wallet, DogeOS application platform, and Such App payments service into a single independent organization. The new entity will be led by CEO Jordan Jefferson, founder of MyDoge and DogeOS, and will incorporate intellectual property and development teams contributed by the Dogecoin Foundation and its commercial wing, the House of Doge.
