Dogecoin Death Cross Completed: Is This the Right Timing?

Dogecoin has just formed a death cross on its daily chart for the first time since 2026. The 50-day simple moving average (SMA) has crossed below the 200-day SMA, completing a death cross on the daily chart. The last time Dogecoin saw a death cross signal on its daily chart was in November 2025, which preceded months of downward price action. The development comes only about three weeks after Dogecoin recorded a golden cross on its chart. On Oct. 5, Dogecoin's shorter-term moving average, the 50 DMA, moved above the 200 DMA in a bullish golden crossover.
