[Daily won] Dollar closes at 1,324.6 won, up 0.4 won

The Korean won weakened by 0.4 won against the dollar to close at 1,324.6 won per dollar. The exchange rate remained near its yearly low of 1,324.2, and 14.9% below its yearly high of 1,555.8. The dollar ended the session at 1,324.6 won, up from the previous close of 1,324.2. On October 23, the dollar opened at 1,324.5 won, 0.3 won above the previous close, and finished 0.1 won above its opening level. The figures are based on the Bank of Korea’s published rates.
