CVR Partners Posts $10.7 Million Q3 Loss as Turnaround Cuts Output

CVR Partners, LP swung to a third-quarter 2026 loss as a planned turnaround at its East Dubuque, Illinois, fertilizer plant reduced production and drove up costs. The partnership lost $10.742 million, or $1.02 per common unit, in the three months ended Sept. 30. It earned $43.072 million, or $4.08 per unit, in the same quarter of 2025. Net sales fell to $146.152 million from $163.549 million. Ammonia production across CVR Partners’ plants dropped to 175,000 tons from 208,000 tons a year earlier. Urea ammonium nitrate output declined to 294,000 tons from 337,000 tons.
