Bitcoin and the broader crypto market recovered on Wednesday after overnight losses triggered by the U.S. midterm elections, which saw Democrats win control of both chambers of Congress. Although the results raised concerns about the future of crypto-friendly legislation, improving sentiment across traditional financial markets helped digital assets regain ground. Bitcoin briefly touched a six-week low before climbing 0.7% to $78,354 by 0841 GMT. Ether also advanced, rising 1.4% to $2,323, while U.S. stock index futures recovered after falling as much as 2% overnight.
