Crypto Liquidations Top $42.2 Million in an Hour, With 96% Long

Liquidations totaled $42.2 million across Binance, Bybit and OKX in the hour ending 2:49 p.m. ET (19:49 UTC) Nov. 2, with long positions accounting for 96% of the sum. TokenPost’s tally captured 8,912 liquidation events using public data collected directly from those three exchanges. The measurement window was the 60 minutes immediately before the cutoff. The total covers those venues only and does not measure all crypto-market liquidations. Long positions accounted for $40.66 million of the $42.2 million total, while short positions made up $1.54 million. Binance had the largest exchange total, at $32.67 million.
