Crypto Fear and Greed Index Drops 18 Points to 50, Shifting to Neutral

The Crypto Fear and Greed Index moved into neutral territory Friday after an 18-point decline, marking a shift from the greed classification recorded in its previous reading. The index’s latest reading was 50 on Friday, Oct. 23, down from 68 on Thursday. The earlier score was classified as greed, while Friday’s score was classified as neutral. An earlier TokenPost update covered a score of 53 that moved the index into neutral, after a previous-day reading of 55 was classified as greed. The index also recorded 53 on Oct. 15, following a score of 62 the day before.
