Cosmos crypto defies market weakness – Can ATOM rally toward $2?

In the past 24 hours, Cosmos [ATOM] has rallied by 3.71%. It was one of only a handful of crypto assets that rallied in the previous day's trading. CoinMarketCap data showed the altcoin's daily trading volume spiked 59%. The market-wide bearish bias was due to Bitcoin's [BTC] 3% price dip from $84,000 to $81,416 on Thursday, the 22nd of October. ATOM saw a 1.94% price dip on Thursday, alongside the crypto leader, but has enjoyed a more positive Friday at the time of writing. Can Cosmos crypto's momentum continue?
