Comfort Systems USA has named Julie Shaeff to succeed Chief Financial Officer Bill George after its 2026 annual report filing, setting a leadership change alongside a quarter of higher revenue and profit. The company announced the succession at 4:12 p.m. ET (20:12 UTC) Thursday, Oct. 22, after the market closed and as it released third-quarter results. George notified Comfort Systems on Oct. 16 of his plan to retire. The company said his decision did not stem from a disagreement. It did not set a specific departure date.
