Coinbase sets 3-day MiCA deadline for USDT, PayPal and Trump-linked stablecoins

Coinbase will automatically convert 14 restricted crypto tokens held by European customers on Oct. 30, including Tether's USDT . The exchange said in a customer notice that affected retail users in the European Economic Area (EEA) must withdraw their holdings before the deadline or, where suitable, have their balances converted into Circle's USDC or another supported asset or currency. The restrictions cover USDT, PayPal's PYUSD, World Liberty Financial's USD1 , DAI, PAX, GUSD, GYEN, BUST, UST, RAI, PAXG, MUSD, USDS and TGBP.
