Cognizant shares fell 2% in early trading Thursday, Oct. 29, after the technology services company issued fourth-quarter revenue guidance below estimates, despite beating third-quarter revenue and adjusted earnings expectations. Revenue for the quarter was $5.66 billion, up 4.6% from a year earlier and above the $5.65 billion estimate. Adjusted earnings came to $1.49 per share, compared with the $1.46 estimate.
