Clorox Names Former Revlon CEO Fabian Garcia as Its Next Chief Executive

Clorox’s board appointed Fabian Garcia as CEO Oct. 28, setting a Jan. 5, 2027, transition that ends Linda Rendle’s tenure in the top role at the company. Clorox announced the appointment Oct. 29. Garcia will also join the board. Rendle will step down as CEO, chair and director when Garcia takes over, then remain at Clorox as a senior adviser through April 2, 2027. Matthew J. Shattock, the company’s lead independent director, will become independent chair. Garcia has led Unilever’s Personal Care business group since 2022 and previously served as president of Unilever North America.
