Circle mints $750 million USDC on Solana, native supply rises to $7.4 billion

Circle has minted roughly $750 million worth of USDC on the Solana blockchain over the past 24 hours, increasing Solana’s native USDC supply to a range between $7.3 billion and $7.45 billion. The move injects additional dollar-denominated liquidity into Solana, which remains one of the most active layer-1 blockchains in the industry. Data from DefiLlama, referencing Solana’s SPL token contract tracked on Solscan, confirms the significant uptick in newly minted USDC. The tokens being created natively, as opposed to being bridged from other chains, underline direct demand from within the Solana ecosystem.
