Cheesecake Factory’s Record Quarter Predated Obama’s White House Joke

The Cheesecake Factory posted record fiscal third-quarter revenue of $1.03 billion for a period that ended before former President Barack Obama used the restaurant in a joke about President Donald Trump’s White House. Revenue was $1,033.440 million for the 13 weeks ended Sept. 29, compared with $907.226 million for the 13 weeks ended Sept. 30, 2025. The company released its results Oct. 27. Obama made the remark at a Cleveland rally on Oct. 24, after the quarter closed but before the results were announced. Comparable sales at The Cheesecake Factory restaurants rose 15.2% year over year.
