Chainlink launches 24/7 pricing for tokenized stocks, Aave integrates solution

Chainlink has introduced Chainlink 24/7, an always-on pricing service developed to support tokenized stocks, commodities, and other real-world assets (RWAs) on blockchain networks. By providing continuous pricing data, the service aims to address challenges faced by decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols when traditional financial markets are closed during weekends and holidays. Aave, a leading DeFi lending platform, has become the first partner to integrate Chainlink 24/7 into its institutional offering, Horizon, enabling round-the-clock pricing for tokenized U.S. equities used as collateral. Traditional equity exchanges operate on set trading hours, while tokenized assets on blockchains can be traded any time.
