Chainlink announces CCIP Vault Adapters adoption by Aave, Lombard, Maple

Chainlink has introduced CCIP Vault Adapters, an infrastructure upgrade that enables vault providers to accept deposits from over 80 blockchain networks while centralizing investment strategy and accounting operations on a single chain. The new solution is already being utilized by prominent DeFi platforms Aave, Lombard, and Maple, according to Chainlink. The CCIP Vault Adapters use Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), which allows vault providers to aggregate deposits from multiple blockchain networks via a single integration. This framework lets users deposit assets directly from their preferred network, even if a vault’s investment strategy is centered on another chain.
