Chainlink activated an integration on Base for publishing S&P Global Ratings’ Vault Risk Assessments, extending risk analysis to a lending-vault market estimated at $10 billion as of September 2026. Chainlink announced the launch Oct. 28 at 9 a.m. ET (13:00 UTC), naming Base as its first supported blockchain. Chainlink DataLink provides the publishing service. Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) organizes the process of retrieving assessment information and preparing it for release. A decentralized Chainlink oracle network gathers the underlying data, establishes an agreed value and transmits it onchain.
