Centrifuge Adds Optional Smart-Contract Rules for Tokenized Funds

Centrifuge added an optional smart-contract policy to its tokenized-fund software in V3.3, giving individual pools a way to encode investment mandates and limits on certain actions. The feature adds pool-level controls to a multichain fund system that has supported $3.5 billion in tokenized assets under management. Released Sept. 29, the Onchain Execution Policy lets a pool define rules for how certain actions are handled. In one example, routine actions within preset limits proceed immediately. Adding a venue, asset or counterparty is delayed 48 hours, while changing the policy is delayed seven days. Those waiting periods are examples, not universal settings.
