Central Pacific Financial Q3 EPS Beats Estimate as Revenue Misses

Central Pacific Financial Corp. (NYSE: CPF) posted third-quarter GAAP earnings of $0.88 per diluted share, beating the estimate by $0.03, while revenue fell $2.34 million short of estimates. Revenue totaled $74.94 million, up 0.2% from a year earlier. Net income was $22.8 million. Net interest margin rose five basis points from the prior quarter to 3.62%. Return on average assets was 1.22%, and return on average equity was 15.28%. The efficiency ratio improved to 58.27% from 59.62% in the prior quarter.
