Carrier Plans More Than $600 Million Fort Worth Center for 2027 Operations

Carrier Global Corporation announced Thursday, Oct. 22, that it plans to invest more than $600 million over three years in a Fort Worth manufacturing and engineering center. The project is intended to expand U.S. capacity for commercial cooling equipment, including systems used in data centers, health care, education and industrial markets. The facility will cover more than one million square feet and make advanced thermal-management equipment, including air- and water-cooled commercial chillers. Carrier expects operations to begin in 2027; the date refers to the planned start of operations.
