Cardano’s Midnight launches Sig Network to streamline Ethereum migration

Cardano ’s Midnight protocol has introduced the Sig Network, aiming to address key migration challenges for users moving assets between Ethereum and Midnight. This new system is designed to improve efficiency and security by simplifying how transfers are validated and processed. The Sig Network functions through a three-step process that begins with a compact circuit validating the user’s request. After confirming the request, the user’s shielded claim is burnt and a single Ethereum transaction is queued. This reduces friction during the migration phase and aims to prevent unnecessary delays or complications.
