Canton Strategic Holdings plans tokenized shares with same rights as Nasdaq stock

Tokenized equities promise round-the-clock trading and enhanced market transparency without losing shareholder rights. Canton Strategic Holdings has agreed with TSV LLC to offer tokenized versions of its common shares on the Canton Network, with trading expected to start as early as November 2, the company said Thursday. The planned launch follows TSV’s notification to the SEC under the September 17 Innovation Exemption framework. Canton Strategic Holdings said the move would make it the first publicly traded US company to offer tokenized shares under the new rules.
