Brent crude oil drops below $100 amid US-Iran diplomatic talks

Brent crude oil prices have dropped below the $100 per barrel mark, a level not seen since early October. This significant decline follows a sharp 7.63% reduction to $104.77 earlier in the week, marking the steepest single-day drop since late July. The current downward trend appears to be influenced by easing concerns over prolonged supply disruptions in the Middle East, amid ongoing U.S.-Iran diplomatic discussions. The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude has also fallen, near $95–$96 per barrel. These price movements suggest a shift in market sentiment regarding future oil supply stability.
