Braemar Proposes Eight-Person Board Slate With Seven New Nominees

Braemar Hotels & Resorts Inc. plans to nominate seven new candidates alongside its CEO in an eight-person slate for its 2026 annual meeting, as a shareholder advances its own board candidates. Braemar describes the seven newcomers as independent. They are Craig A. Barbarosh, Kevin Covey, Stephen Haggerty and Daniel J. Hirsch, along with Kevin M. Luebbers, Gail P. Steinel and Stephen W. Theriot. Braemar President and CEO Richard J. Stockton is the slate’s only incumbent nominee. The proposed board would select an independent chair after taking office.
