BNB Chain Sets 100,000-Plus TPS Goal for Planned NewL1 Network

BNB Chain is planning an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible network called NewL1 with a design goal above 100,000 transactions per second for trading, payments, privacy and artificial intelligence. The proposed Layer 1 also targets transaction preconfirmation in less than 50 milliseconds and block finality in under one second. Those figures are design goals for a network that has yet to launch, rather than measured NewL1 performance.
