Blur plans to shut its frontend on Nov. 12, a move that will end ordinary web access to the NFT marketplace while leaving its underlying smart contracts active on-chain. The platform’s Blend lending protocol will stop matching new loans on the same date. Existing borrowers must repay before the deadline or risk default liquidation. Blur also plans to provide a separate tool for users to withdraw assets. BLUR fell more than 16% in 24 hours and traded below 0.015 USDT after the announcement.
